Before you secure your reservation, please note the following IMPORTANT details and most asked questions.

What is included when I book on the site?
When you register you are selecting from your desired room, as well as the conference participation level.  Please note flights are separate and at your own expense.

What is included in the different conference fees?
The full conference pass($899) for active brokers, agents, owners or our sponsor partners and includes:

• Transportation to and from the resort within Mexico upon arrival and departure days
• Full access pass to learning, health + wellness, networking and party activities
• CEU credits for specific learning sessions
• Medical insurance by Manulife MPP

The guest party pass ($199) is for those bringing a family member or friend who wants to partake in DLCG’s evening events, and includes:

• Transportation to and from the resort within Mexico upon arrival and departure days
• Evening access to parties
• Medical insurance by Manulife MPP

The guest relaxation pass($59) is for those bringing a family member or friend who are there for their own vacation and includes:

• Transportation to and from the resort within Mexico upon arrival and departure days
• Medical insurance by Manulife MPP

Can I stay at another resort or property near Bahia Mita and join DLCG for the conference activities?
Unfortunately not. You must stay on the property in order to access the conference, due to COVID-19, hotel policy does not allow day passes.

I have found a cheaper all-inclusive package on Expedia or another 3rd party website, how can I secure my conference attendance?
To attend the conference, you must purchase your room and register through our site. We will not be able to accommodate any individual conference registrations outside of our room block.

What is the difference between Secrets and Dreams?
Typically, Secrets is adults only and Dreams can accommodate families. However, during the conference dates (April 2-6), all adult attendees will have access to both sides of the property. The room product is the same on both sides, with minor décor differences.

Can I bring a spouse, friend or family members during the conference?
Although the resort has two sides (Secrets -adults only, and Dreams -family friendly) during the INSPIRE conference we ask that attendance is adults only.

• If you are bringing a spouse or friend over the age of 18 and they want to attend the evening events, please secure the Guest Party Pass.
• If you wish to extend and bring your family for a vacation outside of April 2-6, 2023, please book a DREAMS room product and during your extension request email indicate how many others will be joining you, inclusive of age. Looking for more information, visit the website:

Can I extend my stay?
The hotel will accommodate a small number of guests who are looking to extend their stay, however please note that no request is guaranteed. To finalize please ensure you BOOK your conference package AS-IS and fully check-out.

I am sharing a room with another attendee, can we split payment?
Unfortunately, our system will only accept one form of payment. In order to secure your spot, you will need to complete your registration in FULL and coordinate payment between you separately.

I did not receive my confirmation email, am I booked?
If you did not receive a detailed receipt and confirmation immediately upon payment processing from your event team, you are likely NOT confirmed to attend the conference. If you have any questions, please reach out to Marisa@dlc.ca or Kate@dlc.ca to confirm.

What airport transfer will be provided?
Transportation details will be sent to you closer to the event.  Please reference the Step-by-Step booking tab for more details on how to submit your travel information.

When should I arrive and depart Mexico?
Please plan to arrive before 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 2nd, and you can depart anytime after 11:00 am on Thursday, April 6th.

What is the event attire?
Depending on the restaurant, there are a variety of dress codes required while on property.  Please pack for each scenario.

• Casual: Bermudas (long shorts or Capri pants), sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. No sleeveless shirts for men.
• Casual Elegance: Sneakers/tennis shoes or dress sandals, dress shirts with short sleeves or collared shirts. No sleeveless shirts or flip-flops. Long pants required for men.
• Beach Casual: Swim trunks, bathing suits and flip-flops accepted.
• Formal:
  • Men: Long pants and collared shirts; dress shoes.
  • Women: Blouses, skirts, slacks or dresses; dress shoes.
• Daytime Casual: Bathing suit cover-ups or shorts and tops and sandals required.
• Resort Casual: Bermudas (long shorts or Capri pants), sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. No sleeveless shirts for men.
• Pool Casual: Bathing suits allowed. Cover-up and sandals (or flip flops) preferred.

What will the weather be like in Puerto Vallarta?
The average temperatures in early April are highs of 28, and lows of 19.

Secrets & Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort

We are pleased to offer 4- or 5-night room packages, single or double occupancy. Please note flights are NOT included.

• 5 Night room package dates are April 1-6, 2023
• 4 Night room package dates are April 2-6, 2023

Room Selection:
Each room is either 1 king or 2 queens; each king room has a pull-out couch.

Additional Information

• Full bathroom with separate shower and double vanity
• Private, furnished balcony

If you select double occupancy, this indicates two (2) guests in the room not necessarily 2 beds.  If you require 2 beds, please ensure you select the 2 queen bed option.

Step-by-Step Booking Guide

This guide is for travel requests outside of Conference dates ONLY:

STEP 1: Review the Conference Details document and determine the type of room package you want

STEP 2: Book your room package + registration

STEP 3: Request your extension

Upon confirmation of your INSPIRE booking (room package, guest (if applicable), conference pass)

• Email kate@dlc.ca and marisa@dlc.ca with the subject line: INSPIRE EXTENTION REQUEST For (insert first/last name)
• Confirm your room type and attach your confirmation email from the event website
• Indicate your preferred dates before/after INSPIRE.  Note: Dates and not guaranteed and we recommend you secure flights AFTER you receive approval from the events team. Extensions are approved by the hotel, please allow up to 10 business days to receive a response.
• Include any additional information re: guests if others are joining you outside of the conference dates. If you have a guest through the duration of the entire stay, please ensure you book a double occupancy room and include their name and age for the extension request.

STEP 4: Upon approval or denial of your extension, book your flights!

What to Know About Travel Requirements

COVID-19 preventative measures and restrictions are still in effect in some destinations.

These could include:

• Curfews, movement restrictions, or lockdowns
• Mandatory mask use
• Required proof of vaccination or a COVID-19 test result to access public and private services and spaces.”

Please note: Currently, COVID-19 policies in Nayarit Mexico indicate that the use of face masks are mandatory in closed spaces, transportation units, etc. Face masks are NOT required in outdoor spaces.

COVID-19 – Entry, Exit and Transit Restrictions and Requirements

Most governments have implemented special entry and exit restrictions and requirements for their territory due to COVID-19. These measures can be imposed suddenly and may include:

• Entry or exit bans
• Quarantine
• Mandatory proof of vaccination or COVID-19 testing
• Suspensions or reductions of international transportation options

Foreign authorities might not recognize or accept proof of vaccination issued by Canadian provinces and territories. You may need to obtain a translation, a notarization, an authentication, or the legalization of the document.

Before traveling:

• Verify if the local authorities of both your current location and destinations have implemented any restrictions or requirements related to this situation
• Consider even your transit points, as there are transit rules in place in many destinations
• Monitor the media for the latest information
• Reconfirm the requirements with your airline or tour operator

The situation could disrupt your travel plans. You should not depend on the Government of Canada for assistance to change your travel plans.
