CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
- Event registrations are considered confirmed upon booking.
- All cancellation requests must be sent to Erin@dlc.ca and Leona@dlc.ca
- A full refund for MPP extensions or guest attendance will be provided up to 30 days before the event, minus a 5% administrative fee.*
- Refunds for cancellations up to 30 days prior to the event will be subject to a 15% administrative fee.*
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 21 days of the event.
*Administrative fees may be waived at DLCG’s discretion for emergent situations requiring cancellation or adjustments.
Liability and Media Waiver
As a condition of my participation in the DLCG MPP Retreat (the “MPP Retreat”), I hereby waive any claim I may have against Dominion Lending Centres Group Inc. (DLCG) and its officers, directors, employees, or agents, or against the presenters or speakers, for reliance on any information presented and release DLCG from and against any and all liability for damage or injury that may arise from my participation or attendance at the MPP Retreat.
I further understand and agree that all property rights in the material presented, including common law copyright, are expressly reserved to the presenter or speaker or to DLCG.
I acknowledge that participation in the Retreat events and activities brings some risk and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being.
DLCG intends to take photographs and video of this event for use in DLCG newsletters and promotional material, in print, electronic and other media, including the DLCG website and social media accounts. By participating in the MPP Retreat, I grant DLCG the right to use any image, photograph, voice or likeness, without limitation, in its promotional materials and publicity efforts without compensation. All media become the property of DLCG.
MPP Retreat Code of Conduct Policy
The MPP Retreat is designed to increase interaction, engagement, collaboration, connectivity and community amongst DLCG mortgage professionals, in a fun and safe learning environment. We value the participation of each member and endeavor to deliver an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
MPP Retreat participants are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, courtesy and respect for others and maintain the highest level of professionalism at all Retreat programs and events, whether officially sponsored by DLCG or not. Disruptions that interfere with the MPP Retreat experience for other attendees are not permitted. All attendees, speakers, organizers, volunteers, partners, vendors and staff at any DLCG event are required to observe the following Code of Conduct.
- Our MPP Retreat is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity or religion (or lack thereof).
- We do not tolerate harassment of MPP Retreat participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media.
- MPP Retreat participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the MPP Retreat without a refund (if applicable) at the discretion of the organizers.
- Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
- Be kind to others.
- Do not insult or defame participants. Harassment in any form, sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not condoned at the DLCG MPP Retreat.
- Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the MPP Retreat without warning at the sole discretion of DLCG.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact Kate Brady at kate@dlc.ca.

PRIVACY POLICY
DLCG will receive and store any information you enter on the registration site or in any other way through telephone or in person. This includes information that can identify you (“personal information”), including your first and last name, telephone number, postal and email addresses, and billing information (such as credit card number, cardholder name, and expiration date). We may also request information about your hotel room preferences and frequent flyer.
You can choose not to provide information to us, but in general some information about you is required in order for you to register your attendance at events; book travel; complete a traveler profile; participate in a survey; ask us a question; or initiate other transactions on our site.
All information is securely stored and will not be disclosed outside of suppliers relating to the event, including the hotel, air supplier and/or Retreat management company.
